How can I get a form to go to 1of 3 people, depending on which choices are filled in on the form?

The following printscreen shows a user filling out the form to report a missing sign (chosen out of a pick-list for Signs). In that case, I want the form to be submitted to an email address for the sign repair person. But what if they had reported a damaged bridge? I would want that type of report submitted to the person in charge of bridge repair.

Could you point me in the right direction for this?

You need to use a gateway in the process modeler. With this, you will be able to set the variables value you want in order for a process to move to a specific stage. you will need 1 arrow for each direction, which sounds like 3 for this process

I had the Gateway in, but it's not picking up anything from the form. Okay, (after another look) so I have to change the Destination settings in there to "Type of Sign Request" ... equals ... and type in one of the choices... but there's 5 different choices once Sign Request is picked. For Roads, there are 16 choices to pick; for Bridges there are ___; for Culverts there are ___. It's only allowing me the three output choices. How do I tell it to pick output one for 16 different choices?

Never mind, I think I'm getting it. I have to hit "or" then type in another thing to insert. I'll give this a try. Thanks, sometimes all it takes is a reminder to look deeper where you've already looked! (*sheepish face*)

Okay, so I now have the Gateway programmed to the three outflow paths according to all the field choices on the form (I want the form emailed to three different people, depending on the choices now outlined in the Gateway). The three outflow paths (User Tasks) I've put my own name in for the email address to send to (while testing). I've assigned rights to two people for test mode, including myself. Yet, when I run a test form and submit, no email goes out. What am I missing?

Hi Connie,

Check that sending email notifications has been configured correctly. You can do this by going to the Laserfiche Forms Configuration page, default URL is: http://[Machine Name]/formsconfig. You can then send a test email to make sure it is working. If you don't receive a test email, then the settings provided are incorrect.

If that isn't where the issue lies, next thing to check is to see if your user is assigned an email address. You can do this by clicking on the gear/settings button at the top right of the Forms home page and then select "My User Settings". If the email field is blank, then go ahead and input this information in.
