"documents from a previous session of scanning have been found in the temporary direction. To recover these document open Standard Mode." How can I get my documents back?

 "documents from a previous session of scanning have been found in the temporary direction.  To recover these document open Standard Mode."  How can I get my documents back?

You will need to use Standard Mode scanning rather than Basic Mode. If you are not given the option to choose between the modes when you click on the Scan icon, you will need to go to Tools>Options>Reset>Prompts, Check the 'Scan mode' radio box and click OK. Go back and click on the Scan and you will be prompted to select from Basic or Standard mode. Select the Standard Mode and you will be given the option to recover your document.
