Hi I have customer who would like to purchase a additional repository for Avante. Is there a limit to the number of documents of one million documents?

There is no limitation to the number of documents per repository in Avante.
There is a system limit for volumes of 2,147,483,647 documents per volume, but to create more documents, you would simply need more volumes. Avante licensing does not limit number of volumes.
Perhaps you are thinking of Team licensing, which has a limit of one million pages per repository.
