Hi Hedy,
I assume by RDS you mean a Terminal server setup or something similar? We have many customers using Laserfiche on a 'cloud' based solution (hosted desktops) and also many customers setup using virtual desktops in all variations, shapes and sizes. This seems to work well but depends solely on infrastructure design. It's important to ensure that the LF client, LF server/s and SQL server/s have a high speed connection between all of them.
Only potential consideration we have run into is when using a remote desktop you cannot access a USB scanner over this connection. Therefore before moving to this type of solution you need to make sure all scanning is networked and done through Import Agent.
