It's not something I have ever heard of, however if the product is SQL based I'm sure you can create views within SQL in order to pull client name lists etc. or reference the tables directly if they are organized well enough.

If you are looking to integrate the systems there is also a product called affinity. We sell this quite a lot as it basically allows pass through searching and importing from pretty much any application. Technically it's 'cheating' but I like it a lot as it's so simple.
