Question

Question

Can LF Forms be used as BPM to achieve complicated processes?

asked on June 24, 2014

suppose we want to implement 100 processes like:

- HR Processes (Vacation Request, Hiring Request...etc)

- Financial Processes.

- IT Processes (Support Ticket, Hand Over......etc).

.....etc

- Each process will go through structured path and it has to include approvals levels.

- it needs to communicate with external DB like (MS SQL, Oracle).

- users need an advanced Reporting.

- Dashboard must support (English, Arabic).

Best Regards

Forms will absolutely allow you to build over 100 different business processes, with the limiting factor being that you'll need to plan the appropriate server hardware to handle the throughput you're expecting.

Forms can also communicate/perform lookups to an outside SQL or Oracle database, and includes Reporting functionality so that users or administrators can view summary information regarding the processes that have run or are running.

Regarding language packs, Forms does not currently have an Arabic language installation but the Forms team is working on including Arabic in an upcoming release

Hello

Is it possible to retrieve user information (Submitter) from Active Directory?

So information like manager of submitter can be used to assign next step to him for approval.
