Question

SharePoint 2013 Records Center

asked on June 24, 2014

I am unable to send the document to Laserfiche Repository from SharePoint.

On selecting "send to" option in SP, I do get the message "Operation Successful" and I have also checked the destination path in the Laserfiche repository, but I cannot find the document in the client.

A support case was opened for this issue. It turns out that the Laserfiche Server and Repository that the SharePoint Records Center integration was sending documents to wasn't the same Laserfiche Server and Repository the user was logging into via the Client so that's why the documents could not be found. Once the correct Laserfiche Server and Repository was used, then the documents could be seen.

If anything went wrong there should be information in the event viewer of the SharePoint machine.  Is it possible that your account doesn't have rights to see the new documents?  If you have Audit Trail, that will definitively resolve whether the document was created or not.

Brain,

In the Event Viewer, I am getting the following error related to Laserfiche SharePoint Integration

"The description for Event ID 0 from source Laserfiche SharePoint Integration cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer."

I have not configured Audit Trail in my system. But I checked that I do have admin rights for Laserfiche as well as SharePoint.
