We changed the name of a named user in the Admin console. Now in the client when this named user creates a new document, the folder browser shows 'created by' and 'last modified by' as the previous version of the name of the named user. However, if I right-click the document, and view properties, the correct version of the name of the named user appears. Also, if I search for this newly created document using the User search, I only receive results when using the previous version of the name of the named user. Finally, Audit Trail shows the correct version of the name of the named user for the document.
IE. Named user: Joe became Bob
Bob created a document
For that document:
- Folder Browser: see columns created by and last modified by Joe
- Search (User): 0 results for Bob, 1 result for Joe
- Document Properties: created by Bob
- Audit Trail: created by Bob
