Laserfiche Version 8 Administration

Dear All,

We are currently using Laserfiche RIO 8.3.2 system, mostly with Windows authentication.

The Infrastructure team had decided to upgrade Active Directory and Exchange to 2013 version.

Does Laserfiche server 8.3.2 support authenticating to AD 2013 and able to send emails to Exchange 2013.

Hi Kirubaa,

Laserfiche 8.3.2 was released before AD and Exchange 2013 were available, so we weren't able to test or officially support those products. We have no reason to believe that there are any issues though! I'd still recommend the upgrade to 9.1.1 if possible, as that fully supports both AD and Exchange 2013, but you'll probably be fine using 8.3.2 if you have to. We just won't be able to provide tech support for any issues related to AD and Exchange compatibility.

We have plans to migrate the server in next year only due to another bigger application migration. However, the Active directoy migration testing have started, so we have to check the compatibility of the application to be tested.

Any of your clients used LF 8.3.2 with AD 2013?

Any previous experiances?
