disable "Track Versions for New Documents"

 Is there any way to disable users from being able to turn off the "Track Versions for New Documents" option? We would like versions to always be tracked in our repository. The users in our repository, however, still need to be able to have the modify contents right in order to move documents from folder to folder.

There's a setting in the administration console the disables the option altogether - folders you have already marked as tracked will continue to be tracked. That would allow you to enable it on the root folder to apply to your entire repository and then prevent users from changing it at that point.

FYI for anyone reading the thread, to set this up I enabled tracking all document versions at the repository level. Then to disable users from changing that setting, I went to the admin console-> settings->general->and then selected "Prevent users from placing documents under version control"
