Question

Forms 9.2

asked on June 9, 2014

Dears,

In the product Roadmap, we got that The upcoming 9.2 release of Laserfiche Forms will include support for electronic signatures, expanded process-level reporting and analytics, social collaboration, and more.

Please, is it possible to know about the “more” functionalities. Also, What about  parallel routing, Delegation, and the new Controls? Those are major functionalities for any business process module in the world of IT solutions.

Thanks,

Dory Mina

While we don't have any additional information to give you at this time, keep an eye out on the VAR portal, product news, and product roadmap for more information about Forms 9.2. In the months to come we'll be revealing more of the functionality and features that will be included.

I'm going to guess that we are looking a Q4 release date for Forms 9.2 like what was mentioned at the 2014 Conference?

As we are approaching the mid-point of the quater I am wondering if there is anything available the new functionality for Forms 9.2 or the timeframe?  Besides what is listed in the Product Roadmap.

The Forms development team can probably speak to this better than I can but I believe the reason why the Product Road Map says "and more" is because it's often difficult to say what will make the cut into a release because issues will come up that end up taking longer to resolve than expected. You can imagine how disappointing it would be if we promised something on the road map but it didn't make it to release. The items that are mentioned are the items that have been prioritized and have been requested heavily by users. As it gets closer to release, we will have a better picture of what will be available in Forms 9.2
