I agree that this would be an excellent feature. The fragility of relationships/links is what makes me hesitate to use them as a part of daily business. Often, documentation should travel in packages and links are the best way to do that. The alternative, which my users adopted without asking, is to scan/import all the documents into a single Laserfiche document.
I think we need at least:
- Notification/event for Workflow to start off of
- Ability to detect if a document has any relationships and act on the documents that are linked within a workflow activity. I'm picturing a For Each... kind of activity.
- View metadata within the Links pane in the LF client. Names are not always helpful enough.
- Provide an easier/alternative way to find a document to link (manually) via the client. Maybe a small search window instead of browsing?
