Hello

Is there an open event in workflow? I want to assign some field a value when the document open or viewed.

Hello Aaron

I want to specify if some user open a document, in order to check if he view the document. I did that manually, but I want do that automatically.

If you're looking to keep track of what users have opened specific documents you can use Laserfiche Audit Trail. Specifically, the "View Document" event under the View Content event class.

To audit this event, you'll need to make sure you've enabled "View Content" under the group/users you'd like to audit this event for from the the Admin Console.

Viewing documents does not generate notifications.
