Quickfields and Remote Procedure Calls

If Quickfields says that the RPC server is unavailable it is specifically talking about the service named "Remote Procedure Call (RPC)" running on the Laserfiche server correct?

No. It usually indicates that one of the processes it runs behind the scenes has crashed.
