Does anyone have any experience with or knowledge of Workshare and how it behaves with Laserfiche 9 with Office 2010?
We have a client who was using Office 2010 and LF 9 with no issues until Workshare had to be upgraded. After the upgrade, Workshare began interfering with office docs opened from LF. If a document is edited without using Check In/Check Out, most times the changes will not save. The very few times that it does save the changes, LF never displays its prompt asking what to do with the changes, nor does the Last Modified or the Last Modified By get updated. Using Check Out doesn't cause an issue.
I noticed that if the document is not checked out, the temp copy that gets created in the user's windows profile never gets deleted after closing the file.
I'm confident the issue is with Workshare. Is this something that should be brought to support, or is it something that they won't address since it's a third party product?
