Question

Forms Email TLS Authentication?

asked on May 29, 2014

Office365 does not have an SSL authentication option. Is there any plans to enable TLS Authentication for Forms Email?

We would like to use the business email so that the reply to is not a random gmail account.

So you enabled the SSL in the SMTP server, but it doesn't work for Office365?

The SMTP server that comes with an Office365 subscription does not support SSL, only TLS. So I was wondering if there was plans to support TLS since Office365 is a very common email provider. This way we could send valid emails from a company account rather than a fake SMTP impersonation server that will be caught by spam or a gmail account. (Since gmail supports SSL).

Are you trying to setup Email Approval Server? Email Approval Server should use IMAP, and office365 supports SSL in IMAP.

Or you trying to setup Email Notification Server with SMTP?
