Feature Request: Allow Email of Document as Both Link and Copy

Sometimes I need to send the same email to both internal Laserfiche users and outside recipients. I would like to be able to send a Laserfiche document as both a link and a copy. Right now I have to create 2 emails and drag the attachment from one into the other.

As a workaround you could make a Business Process for it. Workflow can attach a file of each type:

Thanks for your response, Matt. We do just that when we send out emails from our workflows but these are just one off emails. We just want to be able to select both check boxes on the Selected Attachments dialogue.

Yeah I understand, but you can create a generic "Email" Business process.

They would right click to start the process, a template would be added to have them add the email addresses, the workflow sends the email and clears and removes the template.

Interesting idea. So the user would be typing in the To Address so would not have the use of the address book? Where would they type the body and what about signatures?

It would all depend how you wanted to set it up, you could have fields for "Subject" "CC" "Body" etc if you really wanted to make it fancy or just a "To" field and send a generic email with the attachments. 

 

It is a workaround, but could probably work for most situations.
