Is there anyway for workflow to pull a document from a network share to start a workflow process?
Like John said, you can use import agent to pull files into laserfiche and the workflow can work from there. You can also use Quick Fields to pull a document from the network if you want to add metadata or OCR the image before workflow starts.
Import Agent in conjunction with workflow might be a good solution for that.

I wanted to make sure there wasn't anything else that could be done being that they only have 1 quick field license. I will pass this information on.
