Workflow creating multiple document links??

So I have a workflow that is creating document relationship between documents that contain the same Study Number in the template field. I'm noticing that even though there are only 16 documents (in my test evnironment) that when I open up the documents, it shows 30 links?? There's a link for Message and one for Attachment. Any ideas...I've never used this activity before.

After reviewing the Workflow and starting rules, it was found that things are working as designed. Any modification to any of the documents in question would trigger the workflow to add a document relationship to every other document. Depending on how users were interacting with the documents manually, any change would trigger the workflow so you could easily end up with the situation where all documents would have a document relationship with one another. The starting rules and workflow definition should be modified to prevent this occurrence.

We would need to know exactly how you have the "Create Link" activity configured, specifically regarding the source and target entry. We'd also need to know how the workflow is getting triggered, i.e. a starting rule or something else.

Please open a support case and provide a briefcase of sample documents you're using as well as an exported copy of your workflow (*.wfi) so we can further investigate.
