Question

Is there a way to set the auto rename option for duplicate file names to have a leading zero?

asked on May 23, 2014

We are working on importing a large group of documents for a customer.  There are some files that are have the same name and need to be combined after import.  Due to the way Laserfiche sorts numbers, the files are not in order.  Is there a way to change the auto rename to put a zero in front of the single digit numbers?  For example:  Test (02) instead of Test (2).

Also, what is the fastest way to combine files with similar names?  I have a workflow that search for the additional pages and moves them into the master document but it runs WAY to slow.  Any ideas are appreciated.

Thanks,

Jen
