I have tried various syntax in the advanced search but can't get the search to return any results.

I have a drop down list field and I need to search it for more than one value.

Example:

Field = "Lender" (List field with 10 different lender names)

I need to do a search to find all documents for either "Lender 1" or "Lender 2" which are both in the list field.

Nothing I do returns a result.

Also, is this possible to do a search like this without doing using the advanced search?

I was able to get it working by doing the following using Advanced Search syntax:

{[]:[FieldName]="Value 1"} | {[]:[FieldName]="Value 2"}

However, I don't see any way that this could be done without an Advanced Search.
