Document links in Word 2007 will not open to WebAccess document using IE 11

asked on May 22, 2014 Show version history

I have a hyperlink in Word 2007 that contains a URL link to a document in Laserfiche Webaccess.  The link has worked fine until I upgraded IE to IE 11.  Now, when I click on the link, it just takes me to the sign on page for Webaccess.  Before it would take me directly to the document.

I am currently on Laserfiche 8.1 and Windows 7 64bit.

If you sign in once and then try the link again does it work now?

Also, please note https://support.laserfiche.com/KB/1012418 (supported configurations). Web Access did not officially support IE 11 until version 9.0, given that it only came out last year.

Hi Justin,

No, it will work fine if I paste the link directly into the browser address bar.  However it will not work if the link is in word and you do a ctl click to launch the link.  It worked fine a week ago before I upgraded to IE 9 to IE 11.  IE 11 is the only piece in the puzzle that has changed.
