Activating New licenses in RIO

Hi,

I'm following the instruction and downloading the license file from the laserfiche support site under the "My License File" link.

The zip file I downloaded contains two folders none of which has the lfdef.licx file that the add Master Llicense requires when choosing the "Import the master license file" option.

You really want to read/review the Rio Deployment Guide found HERE

 

You need to install your License Manager and use your Activation Key to generate the license.  There is no license file to download.

 

If you are updating a license instead of creating a new one you need to go into your License Manger, select your License DB, go to Actions - Add Master License and pick "Request the master license from Laserfiche".  Then make sure the Renew license in database is checked.  You can also optionally then save a copy of the lfdef.licx locally.
