Question

QF. What causes a session file to grow?

asked on May 16, 2014

I noticed that documents waiting revision are not stored in the session itself. What else would cause a session to grow in size. One customer has a session file that is over 6GB and will no longer open. I could not think of anything that would store this much data besides documents waiting for revision.

I notice that the amount of samples I have for each document class adds a lot of size to the session file.

That was one area I expected, but I can't imagine someone found a way to upload 6GB of samples. I am thinking it would be something they could automate.

We don't know, could not open it. They were not familiar with the session, we just found it on their server.
