Unable to log in using admin account error 9520

asked on May 14, 2014

I just created a new repository.  I am unable to log in using the default login account.  error:  No license has been allocated for this user. [9520].

I am able to get in using Windows Authentication, so I can make changes.  how do I enable the Admin account?  And what did I miss that broke it?

Hi David,

It sounds like your reached the limit on simultaneous connects for the ADMIN account. By default the account can only have 2 connections to Laserfiche applications at once. If you give the ADMIN account a named user license that number will increase to 5.

Disconnected an Admin account from the all sessions module in the Admin console.  I can now use the Admin account

I had the same problem, I found that the admin account had over 7000 connections inactive from the audit trail. disconnecting them took a while. What could have caused this?

We've had that reported in a handful of support cases, but we've never been able to reproduce it internally.  If you have time to work with support, we might be able to resolve it.

Separately, having Audit Trail log in as the admin account is probably not the best idea - it doesn't require nearly that level of authority.
