Change Forms URL To Include Port Number

asked on May 14, 2014

 Hi There

I have forms setup on a clients server. We can access forms my using a dyndns URL with a port forwarder i.e. ngb.dyndns.org:8085/forms. We can log in and browse the forms interface without a problem.

This issue is when we try to start a form . It looses the port number in the URL. i.e. ngb.dyndns.org/forms.

I have gone into Forms Config and changed the Primary Forms Server URL to ngb.dyndns.org:8085/forms but this does not help, even after a restart.

Where can i change or edit the URL to include the port? Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Can you check the URL shown under Share section on Publish page for the process? Is the URL with the port? If you are visiting Forms site using URL like http://formsserver:8085/forms, all the URL generated should include the port number as you can see from following screenshot.

Hi Xiuhong,

What about the URL that is sent to users during a User Task?

Currently the link takes the user back to the local name of the Forms server - is there anyway to modify this?

Thanks,

Dom
