Quick Fields has the ability to clean up documents using processes like Line Removal, and this will assist the OCR process’ accuracy. However, you may not want these to be permanent.

To add a Line Removal temporarily for the OCR process, and not permanently to the document, then you can use the Local Enhancement option within the OCR process.

Simply right click your OCR process, hover over “Insert Local Enhancement”, and choose the Line Removal process. This will appear underneath and within the OCR process. What this means it that the Line Removal will run just before the OCR, and then the lines will be put back in once OCR is complete.

Local Enhancements can be used for both Full Page OCR and Zone OCR, and there are many options available.
