Hello,

For the client, you can "turn off" the repository/server discovery feature in Laserfiche see this link... http://answers.laserfiche.com/questions/49181/What-is-the-registry-key-and-value-to-set-to-avoid-having-to-manually-attach-a-repository.

Then, manually attached the repository you want for he user.

However, I am not clear how you would accomplish this with WebAccess.  Interested in an answer, thought.

Anyone?

Would it work to use the Client command line parameters to automatically log a user into a specific repository? You could then deploy that shortcut to users through AD groups and group policy, or whatever your normal technique is.

How extensively do you need to customize the list?  How many different "classes" of users are there who need to see a different list?  If it's not too many, you can make a second virtual directory that points to another set of files, and configure it separately.  If it's more than a few different lists, this gets to be a good bit of work to set up (and keep in mind you have to plan for upgrades).

The difficulty with doing this without separate configurations is that the user hasn't authenticated yet when we show the login screen, so there isn't any data to use to make these decisions.
