Have just changed the Workflow Server Maintenance Options and need to start  the database maintenance task manually. How can this be achieved?

Do you need to run it manually because you disabled the feature?

Nope... in fact because I want to apply the updated options right away...

We currently don't provide a manual trigger for it. You can achieve the same functionality by manually triggering these three stored procedures. I recommend just waiting for it to run at its next time.

  • cleanup_tracking_log
    • Will delete all tracking data for workflows that completed/terminated before the given date time (in UTC). Typically 30 days before the current moment.
  • cleanup_reporting_log
    • Will delete all reporting data for workflows that completed/terminated before the given date time (in UTC). Typically 365 days before the current moment
  • cleanup_message_table
    • No parameters, just cleans up messages in the message cache that are no longer referenced. Run this after the other two procedures.

Got the issue Ed: I had to cleanup the Workflow SQL Database (in overflow status) after reducing the number of days.

Could Laserfiche consider this topic a feature request?
