We need to add multiple types from a drop down list, and an amount beside each type chosen. Once an "Other" selection is made, a single line field needs to display with the ability to type in whatever the other selection is with the amount.

This would be accomplished fairly easily if a section can be shown or hidden when a selection is made from the previous section. The ability to do so doesn't seem built into the system. Does anyone know a way around this?

If I am understanding you correctly, this is built into Forms using Field Rules. In the name of this topic you have "Table Logic". Are you wanting to accomplish all of this in a table?

What I am trying to accomplish is to show a table from a specific selection of a previous table. The field rule logic doesn't seem to work for tables like the regular fields do.

Field rules, used with the fields in a table, work differently because these fields represent table columns. These rules disable fields instead of hiding them to maintain the layout of the table. See this question for more information.
