Laserfiche Virtual Machine - Drive Type and Size in VMware

asked on May 2, 2014

In a virtual environment. How should you build your VM for Laserfiche? Most of the docs mention how to allocate resources such as memory and cores to the VM but I am interested in what type of disk should you create (thin provisioned, thick lazy zero etc) for best performance? I would also like to know what most are doing as far as the size of the disk (C: drive, if anyone is wondering)  I'm in the process of creating a VM for Laserfiche and would like assistance in properly sizing  the VM for the Laserfiche application.

Thanks!!

For C: I'd do whatever is your normal procedure. There's nothing unusual about the core application services that would warrant special treatment in the way of disk.
