Is there a size limitation on briefcases in Laserfiche version 8.3?

 We are trying to import several briefcase files that range from 2.6G to 11G in Laserfiche Client 8.3.  The 2.6G file imported fine but the next file of 6G timed out. We tried it several times.  Is there a size limitation on briefcase file? If so, what is the size?

We have a client using 9.1 that created a 132 GB Briefcase running continuously for two weeks.  We might submit that to the Guinness Book Of World Records.

I'm not aware of any hard size limits on briefcases, but it if they are giving you issues or timing out check out this thread for an alternative that is faster and not prone to timing out (volume export).

You should check the application log and see if it failed importing a specific document. If that is the case, you will need to go back to the original machine and re-do the briefcases and exclude the problem document before reimporting it again.

I think you are hitting a bug at 4GB, but I'm pretty sure this has been fixed. Are you running the latest hotfixes for the client and server?
