LF 9.1.1 field empties while scanning to exising document

I have a case where a user is adding a page to an existing document and upon scanning of the actual document, a required field is cleared out. This field is the top-most field in the template. The user cannot leave it blank as it is a required field. Whatever is entered at his point will update the field in the pre-existing document.

Hi Chris,

 

I performed a generic test and was unable to recreate the issue. It may be something specific to your setup that isn't immediately obvious which is causing the problem. Please contact your Laserfiche reseller to open a support case so we can further investigate the matter.

We were able to reproduce the issue. It only occurs if you have placed the cursor focus into the multivalue field under the Default Properties pane at any point before actually scanning. The workaround would be to just not click into that field. However, we do have a bug filed for this issue and will update this thread when a fix has been released.
