spell checker

 Is there a spell checker or a possible integration to enable a spell checker in Laserfiche?

 

E.g.  in a workflow, a person is filling comments in a metadata text field. If the person makes some grammatical mistakes, the word(s) is highlighted in this metadata field as the user is typing.

With the desktop client, there isn't a native spell check built into the system. However, in Web Access because it is web-based, the browsers offers spell-check to some level. It will red line words that are spelled wrong as long as you have that field selected. 

 

 

As Laserfiche becomes more and more web-based, that functionality will become more standard. Additionally, I will let the team know about the desktop client regarding a native spell checker as a possible future functionality.

Spell checking functionality is now a standard feature asked by all government agencies in Australia. Including this feature into Laserfiche would assist.
