Question

Opening to a folder using docid cmd line arg in client 8.3 vs. client 9.1

asked on April 25, 2014

I have an integration that opens the client by starting a process and passing a few args.  In 8.3 the client opens and only the folder I pass in the args (via entry id parameter) is displayed.  We have recently upgraded it to us the 9 client.  Now when the same process is started using the same args the 9 Client is displaying the entire repository with the folder selected.

Is this normal behavior for the 9 client?  Was this intended to be changed?  Is there a way I can force the 9 client to show only the one folder like the 8.3 client does?

I do have screen shot if they would help explain what i am asking.  Let me know if you would like to see them.

Thanks,

Russell

Add -r to the command line, that flag tells the client to open the folder and make it the root of the tree. The default changed inadvertently for 9.0.

Perfect.  That did work for us adding the -r switch.  Thanks for the quick response!
