Type any part of field value when indexing

We've had a few requests now for a user to be able to type any part of a field value in order to select it. For example, if we have a list which contains the value "12345 XYZ Limited" then typing either "12345" or "XYZ Limited" would select the same value (or filter the list accordingly).

 

Does anyone else have this requirement and would it be considered in a future release?

That does sound like a useful feature to have. Have you tried bringing it up with your Regional Manager? They usually take care of new feature requests. The more people that request a feature, the higher priority it gets when our developers update the software!
