i am trying to attach license manager after de-attaching it, and i got this error when i attach database

There was an error creating a connection to the SQL database. (2029) ? although laserfiche sever is communicating with sql server

Hi Mohammed,

What account is LF License Manager Service using? Does it have access to the SQL database?

Hi Yan,

we are using domain administrator user, i verified the below;

1- same user able to login to sql server

2- laserfiche server can ping and communicate with sql.

i solved this, i found license lf.licx, is corrupted, although i deactivate and activate three times without any issue.

i figured out the issue by chance only, when i viewed the event-viewer log, it was mentioning the license file is corrupted.

this had been solved, license file was corrupted although i generated many times, i deactivated again then create it from different machine .. remote activation.
