Hi, customer is looking into upgrading LF (9.0.2.xxx) to the current release that is available (9.1.1.xxx)

"This upgrade requires the license manager to be patched to 8.3.1.402. In our production environment, we are currently running 8.3.1.394. Since our Development and Production environments share the same license manager, Is this patch compatible with 9.0.2.xxx? I will be upgrading our Development first so user's can do some testing. "

I was told that License manager is always backwards compatible so yes possible. Can someone please double/triple confirm for me? Thanks.

The latest patch for License Manager 8.3.1 is actually found in KB 1013437 and it won't impact any of the deployed Laserfiche applications.

Yes, the license manager will still be compatible with 9.0.2 after the latest patch. Note that the update is only necessary if you plan to use the Distributed Computing Cluster Preview that is included with 9.1.1. If you are not going to use the DCC Preview and want to avoid changing your License Manager, you should be able to stay on 8.3.1.394 without any problems.
