Getting the message "Unknown error [9479:0xc0042507]"

 One of my associates at HR is getting this message trying to find an employee using the search tool

 

Her description: "I typed 'zhenyish' in the search bar to look up an employee by ID."

9479 is "Error connecting to the search engine. Either the search engine is offline or the search engine connection settings are misconfigured. Please contact your Laserfiche administrator.". So you'll want to look at your LF Server machine's Event Viewer for any errors and see if the Laserfiche Search Engine service is running.
