The number of *.loc files is increasing. Is that normal?

I recently upgraded to Laserfiche 9.1. Before the upgrade, there were no *.loc files accompanying the tiff and text files. After the upgrade, I noticed the appearance of loc files. The number of such files is growing.

 

Is that normal?

Yes. Those files represent the word locations when a page is OCR'ed.
