Remove a Business Process from the Start Business Process Menu

I have tried republishing the Business Process with the same name, however it remains in this menu and only this menu(see attached). Can anyone help?

That part of the menu is the list of the user's favorite business processes. If you click through the "more" option you can unselect it and it will no longer show up there. This is true in both Web Access and the desktop client.

We didn't want processes that a user had pinned to their menu to mysteriously disappear, so that's why there's a manual step involved even if the BP has been removed. Note that the removed BP can't be started.

That did work. However, I had to select another business process as a favorite for it to remove the deleted one. Thanks again.
