Question

Import & Convert an HTML email attachment to a Laserfiche document

asked on April 14, 2014

My customer receives a lot of their invoices via an HTML link attached to their email. They like using the Office plug-in but when the attachment is an HTML link to the invoice, they have to open the link and then print the document through Snapshot. Is there a way for the Laserfiche Office Plugin to link to the document and save it instead of the HTML link?

Justin,

I just found a good way to do this. Take a htm and/or html file and change the default program to Acrobat. You will have to close & reopen Laserfiche for it to see the change. Then either use 'snapshot virtual printer' option or 'extract from pdf' option. Confirm it is working on 1 or 2 files. If it is, great! Don't forget to change back the htm/html default program to a browser.

Hope this helps
