license manager access is denied [exception from HRESULT

 I have a RIO installation.  when I try to add workstations from one department I get an error: 

 

I have removed firewalls on the local workstation and network for testing.  I can added machines from other departments without any issues.

Please see if KB 1013253 applies to your situation and try the workaround if it does.

this may be a double post.  I posted a response but I don't see it.

 

I tried the file and the following was returned:

the os is win7 32 bit

See KB 1012618 to download the correct tool that will run on 32 bit Windows.
