Question

repository attributes show wrong information

asked on April 7, 2014

Hi,

We use to have all of our volumes under a folder called LFDATA on our i:\. Due to space issues, we migrated the volumes in LFDATA(Only the volumes not this root folder), to a CIFS share.  We disconnected the old "i:\" and have not seen any issues. However, when we highlighted the repository > repository options > settings. The "location" in the repository attributes shows the old "i:\". Is this a problem? Does this mean LF is still using the old drive?

Yes. Moving the volumes does not automatically move the repository location. You would have to detach it and reattach it with the updated location to change it. Don't forget to move the Search folder and anything else that might be in I:\LFData to the new folder.

I still need to move this LFDATA, even-thougth it is empty? The "Search", "Default" , and Audit have been migrated to other Local drives.
