Workflow - Fill Out PDF - Multiple Files When Emailing

Morning Folks,

 

We are using a workflow to fill out a PDF form.  Workflow fills out the PDF OK, but when we try to email the file through workflow (see picture), it always attached an additional file (either a blank image or a blank copy of the PDF). Any suggestions to only receive the filled out PDF?

Hi Doug,

 

It looks like you are attaching both the electronic document (the PDF you just had Workflow fill out) and the document's images, which you are having Workflow convert from TIFF to PDF. If you would like to only have the filled in PDF attached, deselect "Include images as..." and just go with "include electronic file."

Hey Doug,

 

Those screenshots are really helpful. If you check out the second one you will see that you have ticked to Include Image and Include Electronic File. This means Workflow is sending two different files.

 

If you try your Workflow with Include Image unchecked, then it will only send the Electronic File PDF, and won't attempt to send an Image of that PDF too.
