Laserfiche 8.3 Installer Prerequisites

The Laserfiche 8.3 installer includes .NET Framework 3.5, MSXML 6 SP1 and Microsoft KB907417 for Office 2003 prerequisites.

 

If the pc runs Windows 7 (32 or 64) and already has these items at these versions or higher - as well as Office 2010 - can the prerequisites be bypassed during install? Our customer is pushing out the install to Windows 7 computers and it often fails on the Microsoft KB item. Are these prerequisites also included in the Laserfiche 9 installer? Including the Support folder along with the Client folder from the installation media will avoid the failure here. The installation is looking for these files in the Support folder and is presumably erroring out when they are not present.

 

Alternatively, I'm pretty sure that running in fully silent mode (-silent), as opposed to no user interaction mode (-noUI) will bypass prereq checks.
