Question

First and Last Page identification identification in Quickfields 9.1 for new documents

asked on April 2, 2014

Is it possible to generate a new document based on a condition where you are potentially identifying both the first and the last page of a document.

Here's the example:

Page 3 of 3 -- End of Report

I'd like to identify that a new document has started if we read Page 1 OR we read an End of Report.

Furthermore, I don't yet have my Document Class Typing license, so I'm doing this in Quickfields 9.1 without that advantage.

If you are using first page identification conditions with last page identification conditions Quick Fields will identify the document using first page ID, then only check the last page conditions until they are met (it will not check first page conditions again until it is done with that document). For more information on how the conditions work together check out this page: Identification
