If I modify a field name...do I have to do anything to the Quickfields Sessions?

Not chaning any of the field settings, just changing the name (spelled incorrectly).  Am I going to have to go around and touch all the Quickfields that use that Template field or when they first open the session, will it auto update the new field name?

In the latest versions:

 

In QF go to options, Metadata Updater. Make sure Update Laserfiche metadta when a session is opened is selected at the very minimum.

 

Now you can change the name of a template field and Quickfields will automatically adjust without losing any of your configurations.

 

Just make sure to close Quickfields and re-open after the change.

 

All your documents will be updated without issue as well.

 

Edit: I am unsure about documents waiting for revision, you may want to clear the revision pane.
