Hi.

I have a Rio client who has two versions of the Laserfiche Authentication Service showing up in their Services MMC.

I think they show as version 8.2 and version 8.3 (although it's possible that they show up as one with no version information in its name and the other with version 8.3 in its name. I've seen this in a few  places and it's hard to keep track!).

They are currently running Rio version 8.3.2.

The Laserfiche Server software, WebAccess 8.3, WebLink 8.2, and Import Agent 8.1 are installed on the same server.

They said that the second entry showed up after upgrading WebAccess from version 8.2 to version 8.3.

From what I was able to find in the documentation I figured that both versions show up because WebLink is still at version 8.2. However, when I look at my VM which has Avante 9.1 and WebLink 8.2 installed on it, there is only one version of LAS showing up, and that is version 9.1.

So, I have two questions. The first one is why are there two versions of LAS showing up under Services? The second question is how can the old version be uninstalled?
