Feature Request: 3rd Party Plugins in LF Forms

asked on April 1, 2014 Show version history

Knowing that Laserfiche does not have the time or resources to create integrations with all of the programs out in the world, it would be great if we could install plugins from 3rd parties. This would allow vendors to create their own plugins, but also people from the developer community to create plugins for larger organizations that wouldn't probably create plugins for Laserfiche Forms (Google, Amazon, Authorize.net, PayPal, etc.).

Thanks for the feature request, Blake. It's a cool idea that we will consider.

Any update on this request? With Forms only supporting 2 payment gateways it really restricts its use when a client already has a payment gateway or processor. Most payment gateways allow for the creation of custom plugins for other systems such as eCommerce systems, but without Forms allowing for plugins, it makes it really hard.

Is this still being considered? It is becoming more necessary each day, mainly with payment gateways. There is no easy way to integrate a payment gateway outside of Braintree and Authorize.net with Forms. It has been almost 6 years since this request.

Ben, the feature request I have made relates specifically to Laserfiche Forms. Since it is a web product, it's usually easier to make it pluggable.

Just wanted to check and see if this functionality is currently being worked on for Forms 10? We are specifically interested in PayPal integration.
